The questions
everyone actually asks.
Including the awkward ones: what happens if you want to leave, who owns the site, and what the care plan actually covers.
If your question is not on this page, it is probably a good one. Ask it and you will get an answer from Jackson or Boston rather than a help centre article.
Money, ownership and timing.
The things people actually ask before they commit. If yours is not here, ask us.
Why is there a setup fee and a monthly plan?
The setup fee covers designing and building the site. The monthly care plan covers what happens after: hosting, SSL, security, backups and any updates you need. A website isn't a thing you finish, it's a thing you run.
Do I own my website?
You own your domain, your content, your images and your Google Business Profile, and they stay with you. You're subscribing to the website itself rather than buying it outright, and the care plan is what keeps it live. The precise terms are in our Terms.
How long does a build take?
Most sites go live within days of us receiving your content. The honest bottleneck is almost always waiting on words and photos, not the build. Timeframes are a guide, not a guarantee.
What if I haven't got any content?
Most people haven't. We'll write it and source imagery for you. We just need a conversation about what you do and who you do it for.
Is GST on top of those prices?
No. Every price we publish includes GST. The number you see is the total you pay. We're registered for GST and issue tax invoices.
What happens if I want to leave?
The monthly rate is cheaper on a longer term, and month-to-month is available on every plan if you'd rather stay flexible. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in Refunds & cancellations.
Do I have to take the AI agents?
No. They're separate and optional. Plenty of clients just want a website that works. You can add an agent later if and when the follow-up becomes the bottleneck.
Will an AI agent send things without me seeing them?
Only where you've asked it to. Review replies and anything going out in your name are drafted for your approval by default. We'd rather a slower message than one you'd be embarrassed by.
Can you take over a site someone else built?
Usually yes, including moving you off Wix, Squarespace or a GoDaddy builder without losing your Google rankings or your email. Sometimes rebuilding is cheaper than untangling. We'll tell you honestly which one applies.
Who will I actually be dealing with?
Jackson or Boston. You get both their mobile numbers, not a shared inbox.
Still got a question?
Ask it. We'd rather answer now than have you wondering.
