What a website costs
in Brisbane in 2026.
People usually arrive at this question in one of three states. They have three quotes that cannot be compared because no two of them describe the same job. They are paying a builder subscription that has quietly crept up for years. Or they have a site that used to bring in work and now does not, and nobody has told them why. Here is the whole price list, and the honest version of what moves it.
Every figure on this page is in Australian dollars and includes GST, so the number you read is the number you pay. These are our published prices rather than a special.
The short answer.
A business website in Brisbane sits between $1,199 and $2,299 to build, plus a care plan from $69 a month that hosts it and keeps it updated. Fixing a site you already own runs from $200 to $1,299 depending on what is wrong with it. Once the site has to talk to your quoting, booking or accounting systems, you are into integrated work, which is quoted from a $1,499 blueprint and starts at $4,999. All figures include GST.
What moves the number.
Five things, in roughly the order they matter. Any quote you are comparing should be explicit about all five, and it is worth checking whether it is.
How many pages
Five pages covers a business with one clear service. Eight gives every service its own page instead of a paragraph. Ten or more is for businesses where the site is the main way work arrives. Page count is the single biggest driver, and it is the one worth pinning down before you compare two quotes.
Who writes the words
If your content exists, a build moves quickly. If it does not, somebody has to write it, and the honest question is who. We write and source what is missing as part of the build, and full copywriting for every page on a large site is quoted separately rather than absorbed silently.
What it has to connect to
A contact form is standard. A booking calendar, a quoting tool, an invoicing system or a payment gateway each add real work, because they have to be wired up and tested rather than linked to. This is where two quotes for the same page count diverge.
Whether it feeds a system
A site that publishes information costs one thing. A site that has to hand a job to the systems behind it, with nobody retyping anything, is a different piece of work and is priced on the systems ladder rather than the website one.
What keeps it alive afterwards
Hosting, the domain, the SSL certificate, security, uptime monitoring and your updates. That is the care plan, and it is not optional while the site is running. The rate steps down the longer the term, and the first month is free on every plan.

What each rung actually buys.
A fix, when the site is fine
Sometimes the site is sound and the problem is that nothing can read it. The $499 setup, on a site up to about ten pages, sorts titles, structured data, sitemap, crawler access and the rest, and the SEO, AEO and GEO page sets out what each of those involves and where the monthly options start. Add the image and visual review and the pair is the $649 whole-site fix.
A rebuild, when it is not
The $999 small-site rebuild takes a site up to about eight pages, rebuilds it with the full search and AI pass, and hands it over for you to own. Host it with us or with anyone you like.
A build, when it has to sell
Essentials, Growth or Pro, hand-built around the one action you want a visitor to take, then a care plan that hosts it and makes your updates. Growth is the one we recommend most often, and the page-by-page inclusions for all three are published in full.
A system, when the site is not the bottleneck
When the real cost is the retyping, the chasing and the three-day quote, the website is the smallest part of the job. That work starts with a blueprint and is priced from it.
Where this stops being a website question.
"What does a website cost" is sometimes the wrong question, and it is worth checking before the money is spent. If your enquiries already arrive fine, the website is not the bottleneck. What happens next is the problem: the job details get retyped into the quoting tool, then the calendar, then accounting. Leads sit in a shared inbox nobody owns. Quoting takes three days because it takes three conversations. No website price fixes any of that, and buying a bigger website because the last one did not help is how people end up paying twice.
That work is quoted differently and on purpose. A Workflow Blueprint is $1,499, takes two to three days, and ends in a process map, a ranked list of what is worth automating, an architecture and a fixed-price quote. If you go ahead within 60 days the fee comes off the build in full. If you do not, you keep a costed plan you could hand to anybody. Builds start at $4,999, and the ones that touch four to six systems start at $11,999.
