An AI receptionist
for your business line.
An AI receptionist is a voice agent that answers your business phone line. Ours is built to say it is an AI, take the job details and hand off to a person when a caller needs one. At launch, each call's details are emailed to you.
Launching soon, register your interest. We are not taking orders yet while the phone line setup is finished. When it opens, every receptionist is set up on your own number and tested with you, hand-off included, before it answers a real customer.
What happens on a call.
At launch, it is built from a profile of your business that you confirm in writing. Anything it cannot confirm from that profile gets the same answer: the team will confirm.
It answers and says what it is
The caller hears that they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is transcribed. It never claims to be human.
It takes the details
Name, number, suburb, what they need and a time that suits, then it reads them back so nothing is misheard.
It stays inside your lines
It reads out only the prices you have confirmed in writing, word for word, and otherwise never quotes.
Urgent calls reach you fast
At launch, you are alerted while an urgent caller is still on the line, with the details already taken.
A person when they need one
At launch, when a caller needs a person, it takes a proper message and passes it to the team through the hand-off agreed at setup.
Every message in your inbox
At launch, each call's details are emailed to you with the transcript, so nothing depends on someone remembering a voicemail.
Two plans, GST included.
Front Desk answers every call. Overflow answers the ones you cannot get to. Launching soon, so neither plan is on sale yet.
-
Front Desk
$1,299 a month
$999 setup, so the first month is $2,298. Includes 3,000 call minutes a month, then 49c a minute. For businesses where the phone is the front door.
-
Overflow
$599 a month
$299 setup, so the first month is $898. Includes 750 call minutes a month, then 49c a minute. It picks up the calls you miss, including after hours.
Setup covers connecting the voice line, your call flow, consent wording and a tested hand-off to a person before the first live call. Both plans run month to month and end on 30 days' written notice.
AI receptionist, answering
service or voicemail.
Three ways a call you cannot take gets handled, side by side.
| Option | Who picks up | What you get after the call | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Voicemail | Nobody. The caller decides whether to leave a message | A recording, if they left one; some carriers also send a text version | Part of your phone service |
| Human answering service | A person at the service, during the hours you pay for | A message from the operator, usually by email or text; many services also transfer calls | Set by each provider |
| Our AI receptionist | An AI assistant that says it is one, on every call that reaches it | At launch, an email with the details and transcript, and an alert while an urgent caller is still on the line | From $599 a month plus setup, GST included |
How setup works.
Your number never moves. It is forwarded, never ported, so calls go back to ringing you as soon as you turn forwarding off with your carrier.
You confirm the facts
A setup sheet records what the receptionist may say: your services, area, hours, any prices you want read out, and who gets urgent alerts.
We build the call flow
The voice, the questions it asks, the consent wording callers hear and the hand-off to a person.
We test it with you
You turn forwarding on with your carrier, then we make test calls through your real number, hand-off included, before your first real customer rings.
Who it suits.
Businesses where a missed call is a missed job. See how the phone fits into the rest of the work in each industry's workflow.
- Trades. You are on the tools or under a house when the phone rings. See the plumbing and electrician workflows.
- Clinics. The front desk is busy with the patient in front of them. It notes only the kind of appointment, never symptoms or health details, and gives no clinical advice. See the dental clinic workflow.
- Real estate. Calls arrive while you are at an open home. See the real estate workflow.

What is an AI receptionist?
An AI receptionist is a voice agent that answers a business phone line. Ours is launching soon. It is built to tell each caller it is an AI assistant and that the call is transcribed, take their name, number, suburb, what they need and a time that suits, and read the details back. At launch, each call's details are emailed to you, and when a caller needs a person it takes a proper message and passes it on through the hand-off agreed at setup.
-
Can I sign up for the AI receptionist now?
Not yet. It is launching soon, and we are taking expressions of interest, not orders, while the phone line setup is finished. Register your interest and there is nothing to pay.
-
How much does an AI receptionist cost in Australia?
Ours has two plans, GST included. Front Desk is $999 to set up and $1,299 a month with 3,000 call minutes included, so the first month is $2,298. Overflow is $299 to set up and $599 a month with 750 minutes included, so the first month is $898. Minutes above the allowance are 49c a minute on either plan.
-
Will callers know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. It says it is an AI assistant at the start of every call and never claims to be human. At launch, callers who want a person get one through the hand-off, or a message passed to the team.
-
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. Your number never moves. Calls reach the receptionist by call forwarding from your own line, which is set up with you. Turning forwarding off with your carrier sends calls straight back to you straight away; the plan itself ends on 30 days' written notice. The only other cost is your own carrier's charge for forwarding, if your plan has one.
-
Can an AI receptionist answer calls after hours?
Yes, once it launches. Front Desk will answer every call that reaches it. Overflow will pick up the calls you cannot get to, such as when the line is busy, nobody answers or you are closed, so after-hours callers still reach someone who takes the details.
-
Will it quote prices or book jobs?
It reads out only the prices you have confirmed in writing, word for word, and otherwise never quotes. At launch, it takes the time that suits the caller and emails it to you with the rest of the details, so you confirm the booking.
-
What happens with an urgent call?
At launch, you are alerted while an urgent caller is still on the line, with the details already taken, so you can call straight back or take over.
-
Is it meant to replace a receptionist?
No. It does the phone half of the job, every call, so the person you hire, or you, can do the rest. Front Desk suits a business where the phone is the front door. Overflow suits a business that is not hiring and needs the calls it misses answered.
-
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Both plans run month to month and end on 30 days' written notice. The setup fee covers building your call flow and is not refundable once that work has begun; the rest is in our refunds policy and your written agreement.
-
What if we go over the included call minutes?
Minutes above the allowance are charged at 49c a minute, GST included, on either plan. Front Desk includes 3,000 minutes a month and Overflow includes 750.
